Ships, Sailing, Maritime / Naval Form Terminology
English term or phrase: set darken ship
Hello guys, I´ve got a lot of questions so, I´ll go straight to the point in each.

The context:
A military form where the events that took place during a vessel interdiction at sea are explained. The language structure is military - short sentences, lots of acronyms and naval terms, used in order to be very brief in the narrative.
The following expression is written at 18 55, indicating that the sun will set soon.

The sentence/terms (target expression in quotation marks and caps):
18 55 observed sunset. SET DARKEN SHIP.

I can understand the meaning of the expression from some online reading. The sun is setting and it´s time to turn the ship´s lights off. But I can´t find the Spanish equivalent.

My try:
18 55 observé la puesta del sol (el sol se puso). ESTABLECÍ/ORDENÉ APAGAR LAS LUCES DEL BARCO.

Gracias.
