Two _public diversity lines_, [XXX] and [XXX], were found to segregate for susceptibility to the beetle. By crossing each of the lines to the [XXX] line, it was shown that [XXX] and [XXX] contained naturally occurring mutant alleles at the [XXX] gene that conferred increased susceptibility to beetles."

Po moim dalszym researchu wynika, że termin "linie wsobne" jest szeroko występujący w polskiej literaturze, natomiast ani słowa nie ma o "publicznych liniach zróżnicowania" lub podobnie brzmiących terminach...
