Is there a specific term for "dock water" in Spanish? Here is the context:
Dock water is potable, but our machines take water that’s a few hundred ppm typically down, for ultra-pure spot-free water on board your vessel.
I thought of "agua de muelles" but I am not pretty sure if that is the right technical term.

Para mi aquí se refiere simplemente al agua del muelle, y explican que, a pesar de ser potable, ellos prefieren recogerla de cierta profundidad para suministrar a los barcos de agua muy limpia. Así que yo diría El agua del muelle sin más.

Tiene razón. Gracias por la aclaración :-) Aunque en mi opinión no influye en como traducir Dock water.

: En este caso se aclara que sí es potable -se tratará de un muelle en un río-, pero el sentido sde dock water sigue siendo el mismo; tal vez más apropiado en este caso el agua del embarcadero.
