English term or phrase: administrátor (testu)
The Czech FT of a manual for the administration and rating of a battery of neurocognitive tests contains the terms “administrace” (testu), “administrátor” and “administrovat” – translations of the English “administration” (of a test), “administrator” and “to administer”, respectively. Although the use of “administrace (testu)" seems to be fairly well established in Czech testing terminology, “administrátor” and “administrovat” are found much less frequently and sound rather horrid to me, so I would like to find better Czech equivalents. Key requirements are clarity and brevity, in that order. (I realize that it is a fight against windmills to try going against established terminology, and that having a common root is a great advantage of this terminological unholy trinity, but still – are there any suggestions?)
