Heart sounds are clear/normal Explanation: * -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 hrs (2017-07-03 23:43:46 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Clear heart sounds are the normal sounds that you hear on auscultation. Conditions that may cause muffled heart sounds can be heart related or not. Obesity, for example, causes muffled heart sounds. Other conditions include pericarditis (is causes fluid accumulation in the pericardium and muffled sounds as if listening through a pillow), lung disease (same type of cushioning). Weakened heart sounds are caused by heart pathology (MI, valvular stenosis, etc.). In this case, the heart sounds are loud and clear, which is normal. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 hrs (2017-07-03 23:50:18 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Your context, however, should give you some indication of the sounds. If the patient has a severe hypertension, then you may be able to use the term "loud heart sounds," which is an abnormality of an overworking heart. Although it should read "усиленные/громкие тоны сердца." Use loud only if you have the information of an underlying condition. |
