Use one hand Press down the control button for 10 seconds, at the same time press down the piezo igniter key with thumb finger of another hand. Appuyez sur le bouton de commande pendant 10, simultanément appuyez sur l'allumeur piezo à l'aide du pouce de votre autre main. Continue this procedure until pilot is ignited.

disagree Tony M : No, it's not any kind of indicator light, it's the little gas flame that ignites the main burner when heating is required.
