Yes @LaraBarnett
Lara Barnett Sep 13, 2016:
@ maryfalvo But is yours a project title as Phil's link is?
Maria Falvo (asker) Sep 12, 2016:
Yes, Phil's link is just what I was looking for.
Lara Barnett Sep 12, 2016:
@ maryfalvo Can you confirm if Phil's link is related to your text? If it is, and your term is part of a title, this may be an important factor: I like Fiona's "creative hubs", but in a project title, there may be something more specialised that should be used.
philgoddard Sep 12, 2016:
Looks like it may be this, which happened two years ago, and involved video installations:

philgoddard Sep 12, 2016:
Is this some kind of walking guide, with the cloisters (if that's what chiostri means) being lit up? I'm not sure what you mean by allestimento. If so, Lisa Jane's literal translation would work well.
Lara Barnett Sep 12, 2016:
@ maryfalvo Can you post some surrounding context here?
Maria Falvo (asker) Sep 12, 2016:
Ci si riferisce ad un progetto artistico che prevede l'allestimento di alcuni chiostri della città... i chiostri vengono definiti "stazioni" perchè costituiscono delle "fermate". Creativo è riferito all'allestimento artistico...

stations of creativity

or simply -creative stations- are my suggestions.

With titles like this it is often best to just cite the original title of the exhibition or happening followed by a straight-forward translation in brackets
Peer comment(s):

agree philgoddard : Yes to your first suggestion. It looks like it's stations as in stations of the cross, meaning stops on a journey.

thanks-that's how I see it-a sort of itinerary of temporary installations around the town

creative hubs

"hub - a center around which other things revolve or from which they radiate; a focus of activity, authority, commerce, transportation, etc."

creative workshops

I found an Italian site with a full description of "stazioni creative". It seems to me to be an event featuring 3 special workshops.

@maryfalvo Sorry, I read the Discussion section after I posted my suggestion.
Note from asker:
Yes, Deborah I had already confirmed Phil's link in my discussion above. Although they are "workshops" I need to convey the idea of "stazione"... as "stops" on a journey or something around that... :-) Thanks!!
