Czech term

gebulka

Czech to English Other Slang
Thank you for your support and crossing your fingers for me… I must say that I feel great – I just hope that it keeps up. They took something from me at Gebulka [Neco me v gebulce ubrali], but apparently it wasn't that significant and functions without a problem.
Proposed translations (English)
4 +1 head
4 +1 noggin

Nezaujatému by se zdálo, že překlad a vysvětlivka není totéž...
Karel Kosman (asker) Jul 12, 2016:
oops, accidentally pressed something and wasn't able to leave comment. Noggin = Head, except the former seems British slang. Although it is a creative expression, and because this is supposed to be into US English, better to keep things clear and better understood.

agree Michaela Bordessoule : v naší domácnosti 'kebule'

disagree Jiri Lonsky : But "head" is "hlava", not "gebulka", "kebule" or any other slang expression...

noggin

...they took something out of my noggin, but obviously not that important, as it seems to work fine.

(zde hádám, bylo by dobře uvést celou větu zdroje v češtině...)
