A machine for erecting/making/forming (??) cardboard boxes - in an operating manual for a packaging company.
Anyone know what this would be in US English?
"Carton erector", which I have seen suggested elsewhere, sounds horribly like Denglish and also a little odd-sounding to the English ear...
"Box former" perhaps a little vague but seems to have more currency online.

: The fact that you did not hear of erector does not mean it's not UK use. Believe you me, it's definitely used in the UK / I don't like your remark about Indians. But I do know for sure that it is an erector as I work for SCA (you may google)

The term ' erecting' is used for the formation of structures, but not for boxes;// so, an Indian living in India would know that would he?
