neutral  Jack slep: Oleg, my friend, big words for a simple sentence. In the Russian dictionary of synonyms (published in Russia, I didn't) zakupka = pokupka (to lazy and old to switch to Cyrillic). If paid by the letter/word, you win; otherwise it's a vociferous elongation

  -> Hi Jack, I'm usually being paid by SOURCE words, and BTW I believe that 'procurement commitment' (2 words/22 cws) is almost equal to 'purchase obligation' (2 words/19 cws).

Explanation:
Why make a big deal out of a simple sentence?! Gee, you'd think by now professional R>E translators would realize that Russians love to use words amounting to a paraqraph that in English can be condensed to a simple sentence. Well, of course, being paid by the word, in most cases, it's better to use as many words as possible, even if boring and meaningless to read.
