Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (3): Anna Herbst, Leif Henriksen, Daniel Löfström

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

CONSUMER CHOICE - Cookie Opt-Out

The use of “cookie” files has become an industry standard for most, if not all, of the companies doing business on the Internet. Like these other companies, Crimtan and its third-party advertising technology vendors also use cookies in an effort to provide a more meaningful Internet browsing experience to you. A cookie is small text file that is placed by a web server onto your computer via your web browser. These files are harmless to your computer. The cookie information can only be read by the server that authored the cookie, and contains no personally identifiable information about you.

You may opt-out of Crimtan’s use of cookie files with your computer. The following procedure works for cookies served by Crimtan servers only. By clicking here, you can request an “opt-out cookie,” which is an identification tag that will prevent your anonymous data from being matched to any particular machine. Please note that this opt-out process will remove the anonymous cookie ID from the cookie file but not the cookie itself. It is necessary for us to store this “opt-out cookie” on your computer in order to recognise you as an opt-out user. This is the only way Crimtan can know you’ve chosen to take this action, and ensure that your decision is recognised by our servers. Please note that if you ever clean out cookies from your internal drive you will need to visit the Crimtan site again and repeat this simple opt-out procedure. Also, please be aware that should you change computers, use different browsers, use different computers, update your Internet browser, or delete your cookie, you should repeat this simple opt-out procedure.

http://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/about-behavioural-advert...
behavioural advertising is a practice that is based on internet browsing activity and allows brands to deliver adverts to web users which reflect their interests. It’s safe, transparent, and designed to empower you, the consumer.

The European advertising industry has developed a set of good practice principles that businesses should follow. This good practice is based upon businesses being transparent about the information that is collected and used for this purpose and seeks to provide you with control. At the heart of this is a new ‘icon’ or symbol that is now appearing in the advertisements you may see on websites.

What is behavioural advertising?

Online behavioural advertising (also known as interest-based advertising) is a way of serving advertisements on the websites you visit and making them more relevant to you and your interests. Shared interests are grouped together based upon previous web browsing activity and web users are then served advertising which matches their shared interests. In this way, advertising can be made as relevant and useful as possible. Relevant ads can also be delivered based upon the website content you have just been viewing. This is known as ‘retargeting’.

tHE word possibly repeats because of:
1. the possibility to choose (if they want to receive or not);
2. the cookies MAY POSSIBLY APPEAR/TO BE SET or not (while surfing the website)
It just points that they POSSIBLY MAY (OR MAY NOT) appear (at all/or appear in random order)
