French term or phrase: une pompe péristaltique linéaire à doigts
In this phrase, I am wondering if "fingers" is the correct translation of "doigts" - "a linear peristaltic pump with fingers". Is this correct? If you look at the image of the "linear peristaltic pump" here, I believe the "doigts" refer to the fingerlike rods that create the occlusions against the tube: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peristaltic_pump

For more context on how the pump works, I have this:

If you could help me with the term "doigts", it would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks.
