French term

un papier imprimé à la feuille

French to English Art/Literary Art, Arts & Crafts, Painting Crafts, wallpaper
Hello, it is about "papier dominoté" that I have chosen not to translate as it is marked as a quote in my original text. Then my question refers to the definition of the term: it is a "un papier imprimé à la feuille".

This wallpaper is the décor of Marquise de Pompadour.

It has been revived by a small company: Antoinette Poisson.

Thank you for your help!

"The earliest papers were printed on single sheets. The Cambridge Fragment, found in Christ’s College, Cambridge was printed on the reverse of a recycled proclamation issued by Henry VII. It is the earliest known example of English wallpaper, and was probably hung after 1550. Later, a dozen sheets of rag paper would be glued along the edges to form a roll approximately 11 yards long."
