Italian term

motore rinviato

Italian to English Tech/Engineering Construction / Civil Engineering
I have a text talking about the advantages of circular saw blades versus band saw blades in cutting aluminium castings.

The writer wrote, when talking about circular saw blades
"E’ mia prassi realizzare un unità di taglio con il motore rinviato, il quale permette di mantenere compatto il mandrino e riuscire a fare tagli anche di pezzi ingombranti"

I am not sure what he means. For the moment I am using "geared motor" I see that the word does indeed exist but I cannot find it in any dictionary.

PARALLEL SHAFT GEARMOTORS This is what is meant, I believe. It does not mean two motors but two shafts, which is what the 'rinvio' is about. Nevertheless, it is always your choice as to what to use in your translation. I'm just offering a reasoned suggestion.

I also saw the parallel motor but I don't think it makes sense. It would tend to indicate two motors.
