Bus/Financial - Business/Commerce (general) / Automobile industry
French term or phrase: fonds collaboratifs
The context is a set of regulations regarding a private (ltd) company's pricing system. The document title is:

TITLE OF SEGMENT:

I have consulted several of the company's documents and used various glossaries but can find nothing other than Collaborative fund. Can anyone help with a suggested translation?

Thanks in advance.

collaborative funding
Explanation:
It can also mean crowdfunding, though that doesn't work here. It appears to be customers requesting money for joint projects, presumably to do with product development and/or sales given the context.

Example sentence(s):
  • Medical research needs a collaborative funding model: the current system of competitive grants isn't the best way to finance medical research.
  • The project is operated as an independent consortium where funding comes from participants. The intention is that this will create a collaborative environment where no one party “owns” the project.
