The instructions are very clear and very reasonable: you don't want the adhesive surfaces sticking to anything else, so you stick them together. I really don't understand your objection.

Yes, medical electrodes 'stick' on the skin but you don't 'stick' them together after use. 'Stick them face to face' is, probably, the wrong terminology. I cannot imagine the electrodes, once used, are 'stuck' together so as to be unstuck again for the next use! unless they are for 'one use only'. That's why I put this in the 'discussion' and did not rush to 'disagree' with you. I invited discussion.

'.... stick them together...' εδώ, και σε πολλές περιπτώσεις, δεν σημαίνει 'κολλήστε', με την έννοια του 'κολλάω' αλλά με την έννοια του 'βάλτε/τοποθετήστε μαζί'.
Examples:-
Question- where shall I put this item?
Answer- just stick it in the box.
Meaning- put it in the box
'stick them together', in the asked, does not mean, litterally, 'to stick them together' but to 'put/place them together'.
