Explanation:
Creo que el "boat neck" es un cuello más o menos largo que se enrolla muy justo al cuello, es el cuello marinero. Este es más bien un cuello más suelto de forma redonda u ovalada que llega casi al cuello sin tocarlo y es común que sea de diferente color del resto de la prenda.

agree  Ana María Valdenebro: "cuello de ojal" o "cuello ojal". El "boat neck" es el cuello barco: es un escote horizontal, más bajo. No, no es el mismo escote que el "slash".
