El estudio no considera los impactos comerciales del cambio de la matriz, y en particular la dificultad para el suministro de GNL a través de contratos take-or-pay, ante la variabilidad en el uso del combustible que introduce el cycling.
En el estudio se concluye que la interconexión con el SADI daría una mayor seguridad en cuanto a la estabilidad de frecuencia, debido a la gran inercia y capacidad de controlar la variabilidad que este sistema aporta.
De acuerdo al estudio, estas conclusiones también serían aplicables a la interconexión del SIC con el SING mediante un enlace HVAC, previsto para enero del año 2018.
