"Symbols" is not wrong, but might be too wide in meaning. You could also use emblems, coat of arms, attributes ... and probably few other terms. If you can find what exactly are "obeležja Grada" [for most towns in Serbia it is most likely to be a coat of arms, possibly also a flag?] then it would be easier to decide about the right nuance.

Slazem sa sa Sanjom da se treba upotrebiti "symbols", s tim sto bih ja dodala "official", posto se, pretpostavljam, ovde misli na grb i zastavu pre svega.
