Non-PRO (2): Anna Bajor-Ciciliati, Beata Claridge

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Tak pisał Mozart komponując swoje Reguiem

"Myślę że piszę to dla siebie"Tak pisał Mozart komponując swoje Reguiem - http://goo.gl/3m0085

-------------

Biographer Niemetschek relates vaguely similar account, leaving out a rehearsal:

On the day of his death he asked for the score to be brought to his bedside. 'Did I not say before, that I was writing this Requiem for myself?' After saying this, he looked yet again with tears in his eyes through the whole work - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_of_Wolfgang_Amadeus_Mozar...

---------

Mozart worked night and day, focusing all of his energy on the Requiem. As the composing continued, Mozart grew more and more emotionally attached to the piece. Soon he became delusional and started to believe that he was writing this death mass for himself (Selby, 1996).

In 1829, Constanze recalled her husband’s words. “[Mozart said] ‘I know I must die,’ he exclaimed six months before he actually did. ‘Someone has given me accqua toffana [poison] and has calculated the precise time of my death, for which they have ordered a Requiem, it is for myself I am writing this.” (Robertson, 1976).

On January 7, 1792 the Salzburger Intelligenzblatt first mentioned the requiem and Mozart’s mental state: “Now Mozart had to write, which he did, often with tears in his eyes, always saying ‘I am writing a Requiem for myself.’” (Wolff, 1994 p.123). - https://vimeo.com/67525530
