Spanish term or phrase: persidad
This word occurs under the description of a course named "Materiales Aplicados". I see phrases like "PERSIDAD de colores", "PERSIDAD del espiritu humano", "PERSIDAD de formas". But, I can't find a definition in RAE. Here's the immediate context:

Propiedades físicas, pesos unitarios. Peso específico. Compacidad y PERSIDAD. Propiedades relacionadas con el agua: Absorción.

As always, a thousand thanks!

Note that my confidence level is even lower than Phil's... i.e. my suggestion is pure guesswork.

I think they must have meant "DISpersidad".
"... una medida de la heterogeneidad de tamaños de moléculas o partículas en una mezcla".

agree Jennifer Levey: I was thinking along similar lines, but wouldn't 'dis'persity be the opposite of 'persity'? So, not 'hetero...' but 'homogeneity'.

diversity

Explanation:
based on an example from an equatorian website

Se ha desempeñado como:
Director de persidad e Interculturalidad de la Secretaría Nacional de Gestión de la Política.

And from this Colombian website
... incluye el fomento de colaboraciones y procesos participativos con la persidad de sectores involucrados en la salud pública de la región.
The particular meaning seems to relate to this particular region of Soputh America. In Spain the term appears to be more like scientific terminology

Example sentence(s):
 • Director de persidad e Interculturalidad de la Secretaría Nacional de Gestión de la Política.
 • ... incluye el fomento de colaboraciones y procesos participativos con la persidad de sectores involucrados en la salud pública de la región.
