I'll suggest this as it is what I grew up with in the States. Tho I've seen 'slit och släng samhälle' more often in the same context. There might be newer versions, but this suggestion has a definition.

I have also seen "disposable society" and even "consumer society" for this concept, although if it is about energy the latter doesn't work as well and the former looks to also be the name of a punk band
