Spanish term

MC

Spanish to English Medical Medical: Pharmaceuticals New diabetes drug survery

(this phrase comes just before it in the list of phrases) Cambio medio en el peso corporal frente a los comparadores activos en 2 ensayos fundamentales

This is from a survey given to doctors about new drug trials for a diabetes drug. I don't know what the question is and I don't know where the Spanish is from. Since it's just running list of responses, there's really no other context.
I found MC=motivo de consulta = reason for visit, but I'm not sure that it fits here.
Thank you for any help you can offer.

http://www.sedia.es/descargas/Medios_Contraste_ESUR70.pdf

I'm afraid you're right, Michael.
Michael Kowalewski (asker) Feb 6, 2014:
I did find elsewhere in the text something that might fit here.
"Mínimos Cuadrados" I think this might be it.
Does anyone have an opinion?

Masa corporal

I think your survey is asking for two different aspects:
1. Cambio en la media de MC = variation in the mean body mass
2. Cambio en la media del peso corporal = variation in the mean body weight

MC (masa corporal) or IMC (índice de masa corporal) is commonly used in texts related to diabetes or obesity to refer to body mass or body mass index.
