En el contexto usaría “la paleta de colores”. Los diseñadores suelen usar el “círculo cromático” de diversas formas (a veces usando colores complementarios, o de diversas formas, dependiendo del efecto que deseen causar...)
Los colores que se usan deben “integrarse” en el “todo” de la escenografía... o de la obra pictórica, audiovisual o la que sea.
Como digo “paleta de colores” puede usarse y creo que comunica bien. Podrías decir que en “la época azul” de Picasso, este usó una paleta de colores que se limitaba al azul y obviamente tonalidades de gris blanco, etc... pero no salía de ese ámbito...

Ah, aquí tienes las letras rotuladas... Bueno, mi primera interpretación a bote pronto tampoco es que sea incorrecta... pero la imagen te da la respuesta... El texto puede incluso jugar con los dos sentidos de “wheel”, el literal y el figurado, referido al círculo cromático.
