Composé

Italian to English Other Textiles / Clothing / Fashion
Hi,

This should be a kind of suit or matching set, but I am not sure if there is an equivalent in English, any ideas?

Composè is used for a 2-3 piece outfit that is made up of more than 1 texture- checked & plain e.g.- so maybe mix-&-match might fit. The skirt/trousers would be in a plain colour that goes with the textured jacket, top, so the outfit is smart but casual, not too formal like when you wear an outfit/suit in 1 whole colour-both for men and women. Many of the samples you showed were like this but not all

outfit

just an idea in a hurry - depends on your market as this would be fine for the American scene.

Otherwise "matching outfit" or another French word "ensemble"

You could also say two-piece outfit
