I'm translating one chapter from a book by Iain Sinclair. Can anyone help with with "shirts" and "cloud helmet" in the following paragraph?
“Walking is the best way to explore and exploit the city; the changes, shirts, breaks in the cloud helmet, movement of light on water. Drifting purposefully is the recommended mode, tramping asphalted earth in alert reverie, allowing the fiction of an underlying pattern to reveal itself.”

me parece que hay que mantener lo que puso el autor porque no es que sea un "término" a traducir o una frase hecha que en español se diga diferente.
