Spanish term or phrase: Insc.
This is an abbreviation for something but I'm not quite sure what it is.

The context is a Balance General (Balance sheet) for a company, and at the bottom where the signatures are this abbreviation occurs two times. Once after the name XXXXX S.A. de C.V. Insc.####

The other after the signer's name: (Nombre), Insc. ####

Any thoughts? At first I thought it was "Inc." but it also occurs after a name so just wanted to be sure.

Thanks!

agree  Charles Davis: Probably refers to the company register and is short for "inscrita por ante el Registro Mercantil bajo el Nº..." (from Venezuela?)
