I am translating an application by a multinational company with the Swiss Federal Tax Administration.
The document explains at length the fairly complex structure and recent acquisitions of the company.
The sentence in question reads: "Für ihre Bereitschaft, die Ergänzungen zum früheren Sachverhalt auf die Verrechnungssteuer (***Altreserventheorie***) hin zu prüfen, danken wir Ihnen bestens."
