Hi Simon, this question did actually cross my mind before posting, i.e, why would you...? I was hoping that perhaps you had a reference somewhere else in your source doc. that might confirm (or not) my suggestion. I have worked only on the Italian terms provided by you, but of course you have to look at the overall context. BTW, the word 'elettrodo' in your comment examples suggest different meanings - one as a flame sensor, the other as an ignition device - they are not synonymous in my view. Maybe you can find an alternative word than 'electrode' to use for these different contexts ? Regards, Laurence.

| that would seem to make sense, but in another part "elettrodo di accensione" seems to be synonymous with "elettrodo di rivelazione di fiamma" - it almost seems to be a throwaway word. And why would you need a sensor for an earth electrode? |
