Hospital brochure
This brochure mentions a list of all the places they are associated with, among them, surgical hospitals, *focused community hospitals*, physical therapy centers, specialty centers, etc. My first thought was "hospitales centrados en la comunidad" or "centrados en las necesidades de la comunidad", but that would be "community focused hospitals" and that's not what it says. What's a community hospital? how is that different from a regular one? Any help will be much appreciated.
Thanks to all.
Thanks to all.

A Community hospital can be purely a nominal designation or have a more specific meaning. Specific mention of Community hospitals is encountered in the following countries:
Thailand
Main article: Hospitals in Thailand
In Thailand, community hospital is a specific classification of public hospitals with a capacity of 150 beds or fewer. They serve local populations in provincial districts, providing primary care.
United Kingdom
England
The (non-statutory) phrase is used in England in a similar manner to Scotland. Actual arrangements will be under legislation applicable to the English NHS.
Northern Ireland
In Northern Ireland the phrase has similar use to Scotland but official publications give the appearance of community hospitals being more recent as a concept rather than a mere description.
Scotland
"Community Hospital" is not a statutory phrase but it is used in relation to hospitals which have been described as "a local hospital, unit or centre providing an appropriate range and format of accessible health care facilities and resources" [1]. These hospitals are typically small, using either purpose-built new premises or smaller general hospitals which have been retained to provide non-emergency services after general hospital services have been transferred to more centralised facilities; in some cases the services include in-patient care.
Wales
The (non-statutory) phrase is used in Wales in a similar (but possibly less restricted) manner to Scotland. Actual arrangements will be under legislation applicable to NHS Wales/Gig Cymru.
General Hospital
The best-known type of hospital is the general hospital, which is set up to deal with many kinds of disease and injury, and normally has an emergency department to deal with immediate and urgent threats to health. Larger cities may have several hospitals of varying sizes and facilities. Some hospitals, especially in the United States, have their own ambulance service.
Hope this helps!

Comment: "After checking with my client, who said these are hospitals that don't take care of emergencies, only do elective surgery, I've opted for this translation. Your answer (centros especializados) came closest to it. Thanks."

hospitales locales centrados en "?"
Community hospitals son hospitales locales en contraposición con hospitales generales o especializados.
¿Hay alguna palabra antes de "focused" como "family focused"? Es lo único que se me ocurre ahora mismo

focused community hospitals
There are two commonly used definitions of a community hospital, one focusing on primary care and the other on acute care. Modern community hospitals are likely to be a meeting point bridging acute and primary care.
Professor Lewis Ritchie defines a community hospital in the following way: "A local hospital, unit or centre providing an appropriate range and format of accessible health care facilities and resources designed to meet the needs of local people. These will typically include inpatient beds, out-patient clinics, diagnostic facilities, day care, minor injuries service and other extended primary care and intermediate care services. Medical care is predominantly provided by GPs working with consultant medical colleagues. Staff work in multi-disciplinary and multi-agency teams to provide services including rehabilitation, acute medical care, palliative and terminal care, step-down care and respite care."

I understand your problem in the translation. The word "focused" in front of the term could simply be there for emphasis. Even though the main translation for "focused" is "centrado", I believe it has a slightly different meaning in the sentence you are trying to translate. In my opinion, the correct translation would be "enfocados hospitales de la comunidad".
I hope this helps! :)
