Spanish term

rol fuerza de ventas/de Administrador

Spanish to English Tech/Engineering Computers (general)
Hi all,

I would appreciate your opinions on the most natural sounding way to translate “rol” in the following contexts.

Which, if any, are the most natural sounding translations in these contexts?

“con el **rol** de Administrador” – “with Administrator role”, “as administrator” or other?

“con el **rol** Fuerza de Ventas” – “with Sales Force role”, “as Sales Force user” or other?

“el **rol** fuerza de ventas no logra” – “the sales force role does not”, “the sales force user does not” or other?

“Cuando el rol fuerza de ventas crea una…” – “When the user with sales force role creates an…”, “When the sales force user creates an…”, or other?

Thanks!

sales force identity / Administrator identity

Sticking my neck out a bit here, because this is not really my area, but your question immediately reminded me of Windows user accounts, with their different levels of privileges. It sounds to me as though different types users here, an administrator or a member of the sales force, have different types of access. So I wonder whether "identity" might be a way of expressing what "rol" means here.

"I have two identities on my computer, one is an administrator identity and one is the account i normally use."
http://www.justanswer.com/computer/5j9h3-two-identities-comp...

"For example, you might develop the application using an Administrator identity and then check how the application behaves at run time when a guest user logs in."
http://f1tutorials.com/Tutorials/VisualBasic6/Chapter7/chapt...

So it would be "with/using a sales force identity" or "an Administrator identity". But in fact you could probably put simply "as an Administrator" or "as a member of the sales force" in some cases.
