1: muchas tareas de despliegue y configuración

Explanation:

Silcubo,

I analyzed your case in the way that Symantec (Altiris) writes technical concepts in English.

I also followed how IBM conceptualizes the task of “deployment”. I am member of the IT US Analyst Group and we talk about “deployment” as one of the last steps in the life cycle of the software for business applications.

The normal translation of “deployment” in computer documents to Spanish is “despliegue”. (IBM and others agree in this translation).

The normal translation of “configuration” also in computer documents to Spanish is “configuración”.

In your case, we cannot exclude “configuration” from the context because the original paragraph in English talks about two different kind of tasks: “deployment” and “configuration”.

I believe that you know Altiris is part of Symantec. If you visit the website of Symantec, you will find more information about the criteria of Symantec to write technical information about software.

In summary, my suggestion is:

“1: muchas tareas de despliegue y configuración”

I hope help you with this explanation.

Thank you,

Domingo Trassens

Reference: de uno a muchos

Reference information:

You hit the spot! Muchas gracias
