I'm having a hard time capturing the meaning of this phrase. We're talking about the delivery of machinery and the paperwork involved

My interpretation is that "investissements" here is a way of referring to whatever machinery has been purchased - insofar as their purchase represents an investment for the company in question. "Eléments constitutifs" would be the various pieces of documentation that detail the investment...
