"Product X is currently present in over N countries, while it has direct presence in XXX through N affiliates."

Present wordt kennelijk steeds vertaald als "Product X is momenteel aanwezig in N landen, en heeft een directe aanwezigheid in XXX etc" en dat vind ik eigenlijk maar raar. Betekent "present" niet gewoon dat het "verkrijgbaar" is? Wat doet een product in een land ("aanwezig") als het niet verkrijgbaar zou zijn? En wat betekent dan de "directe aanwezigheid"?

Ik wou e.e.a. verifiëren. Hartelijk dank.
