Bio
-------

------

Although I do not have a linguistic background I like to occupy myself with languages. I have DONE Architecture at Delft University of Technology (only at the Faculty of Architecture you do not study but you do DO) and Industrial Design at HIAP, Antwerp, Belgium.

In design processes alike sometimes you get blinded along the way, then to be given a fresh look from a layman can be very liberating.

That is what I (as an experienced layman) am trying to do here and ever so now and then I succeed.

Linguistically, I am acquainted with the basics of Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, German, French and a bit more than the basics with English (went to Grade School in Balto, MD).

I go by my own spelling rules and never made it to any spelling bee (hurray for proofreaders!).

Although my Latin teacher called me "the poet", I seem to have been awarded the most points in the Technology department...
