English term
to act as a public face to the company
English to French
Bus/Financial
Business/Commerce (general)
Médias sociaux
Employees may have to act as a public face to the company. Be transparent about who you are. Include your name and, when appropriate, your title. Consumers who thought they were getting advice from an impartial third party only to find out that the views were from an employee of the company may feel lied to, even if it is not intentional. Not only is it the ethical thing to do, but while Canada does not have clear guidelines for legal liability in social media, many countries do. Rule of thumb: Always be honest about who you are without giving away detailed personal information.

Note from asker:
Excellent, mais Ambassadeur sans le A majuscule! |

this could be worked into the sentence ('vitrine' has the idea of 'on public display' and could apply to employees)
