Nsa frases " a tree is lopped of sex feet from the ground" e "the roots are dug out of the soil".

Gostaria de saber se existe algum vocabulário específico para substituir, em português, os termos "remover" e "escavar".
No mais, como informação adicional, gostaria de saber se existe algum motivo específico para utilização destes termos no inglês e não outros mais simples. Além, da escolha do autor, estas duas expressões são, como eu imagino, específica, ou possuem um nível discursivo mais/menos formal ou alguma outra razão.

disagree  sflor (X): Desculpe rir, não acho que se trate de "ramos" de árvore, mas sim da própria árvore, das suas raízes que são arrancadas a partir da terra.

  -> mas sflor, sera que a arvore nao eh feita de troncos/ ramos mas apenas de raizes?, veja o link que postei...eh arrancar parte da arvore, logo de seus troncos/ramos...a partir de 6 feet da terra, ou seja nem toda a arvore eh arrancada...
