where XXX is the name of the customer company and YYY the name of one of its departments, I believe.

Is the literal "Contract application" or "Application of the contract" authentic current English legal usage?

More context: Tali Applicazioni di contratto verranno inviate al Fornitore in forma scritta, eventualmente anticipate via fax, ed alle stesse il Fornitore dovrà far riferimento per le fatture successivamente emesse.

"Richieste di fornitura" and "applicazioni di contratto" both appear to mean "purchase orders". Why not just translate them both as one phrase in English?

I agree this is essentially a PO, and raises the usual issue of the extent of the translator's freedom to improve the source text.

Stipulations of Contract

Contract Stipulations or Stipulations of Contract would be my best guess.

A quick Google search yields over 4 million results.

This is not term for the "application" of a contract per se, but I believe in this case stipulations would serve well as sort of an umbrella term for all performance under contract stipulations as well as anything else written in the contract. Just my opinion on the matter. :D
