Use gentle pressure and both hands when feeding the work into the blade.
Do not force the work
Guide the workpiece into the blade slowly because the teeth of the blade are very small and can only remove material on the down stroke
When cutting wood thicker than 25mm, guide the workpiece very slowly into the blade and take extra care not to bend or twist the blade while cutting
Keep hands away from the blade and never place hands in the path of the blade
