Spanish term

Los activos financieros se darán de baja

Spanish to English Bus/Financial Finance (general) An audit report
This appears in an audit report. Could I say, "The financial assets will no longer be considered/included"?

Discussion

Helena Chavarria (asker) Oct 31, 2011:
I'm sorry, this is my first post. The sentence is a whole paragraph and it says, "Los activos financieros se darán de baja una vez que se hayan transferido de manera sustancial los riesgos y beneficios inherentes a la propiedad del activo." I have translated it as, "The financial assets will no longer be considered once the risks and profits that are inherent to owning the asset have been substantially transferred."
AllegroTrans Oct 31, 2011:
It all depends on the context, for which you need to give us the sentences before and after this one (as suggested by KudoZ when you posted your question)

I agree entirely with Giovanni.
Peer comment(s):

disagree Giovanni Rengifo : "investments" is too broad a word. "financial assets" is the term of art here. I'm not sure "excluded" is the best choice here either.

disagree FVS (X) : Sorry, it is simply a question of removing from the accounts once the inherent risks in the assets disappear.
