set portion and a variable portion Explanation: I wouldn't limit the variable portion to either commission or bonuses, although it may be that. We don't have enough info to assume that. Maybe it would be based on something else, such as the number of rooms that are occupied. Who know? Withou assuming to much, we now that is a set amount and a variable amount.
