Discussion

James (Jim) Davis Jun 1, 2011:
So I'm a sharpshooter am I? ... Just wait till I get that Irish guy in my sights! Cristiana was in first, so the points go to her. Sleeping my a**e up to my eyes in work.
Paul O'Brien Jun 1, 2011:
Exactly. They don't have to be accounted for.
CristianaC Jun 1, 2011:
sharpshooters, I like it too but they must be busy or sleeping...
so there's time to squeeze in!
Ivana UK (asker) Jun 1, 2011:
Ha ha - like the sharpshooters comment!! Would have expected to see 'non sono rilevate' or 'non vanno rilevate' so this 'non rilevano' has kind of thrown me. Cristianac's suggestion certainly seems to makes sense.
Paul O'Brien Jun 1, 2011:
It might mean that they don't have to be recognised in the books. Wait for Jim and one of the other sharpshooters.

Hi Ivana yes, you're right!
not sure if there is a better way to say it, but I am pretty sure about the meaning
Note from asker:
Thanks Cristina, this makes complete sense - I'm probably just over-analysing the wording but best to be safe than sorry :)

An alternative to Cristiana's answer.
Note from asker:
Thanks Jim for confirming - time for me to call it a night, even fairly simple things are starting to seem difficult ...
