español term

Semi presencial

español al inglés Ciencias sociales Educación / Pedagogía
Hola!
Muchas gracias!

blended learning / hybrid learning

Both terms are found.

"Hybrid courses blend face-to-face interaction such as in-class discussions, active group work, and live lectures with typically web-based educational technologies such as online course cartridges, assignments, discussion boards, and other web-assisted learning tools."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hybrid_course

"A blended learning approach can combine face-to-face instruction with computer-mediated instruction [...].
It should also be noted that some authors talk about "hybrid learning" (this seems to be more common in Northern American sources) or "mixed learning". However, all of these concepts broadly refer to the integration (the "blending") of e-learning tools and techniques."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blended_learning

"What is Blended?
A blended learning approach combines face to face classroom methods with computer-mediated activities to form an integrated instructional approach. In the past, digital materials have served in a supplementary role, helping to support face to face instruction.
For example, a blended approach to a traditional, face to face course might mean that the class meets once per week instead of the usual three-session format. Learning activities that otherwise would have taken place during classroom time can be moved online."

"Hybrid Learning: Challenges for Teachers
* By Ruth Reynard
* 05/17/07
With the move to hybrid or "blended" course delivery that is taking place in many institutions, there is a challenge for teachers to think through the pedagogical implications of both methods and develop new designs for instruction and course delivery that maximizes both environments."

Alternatively, you can talk about "blended courses" or "hybrid courses" if that fits the context better. And as one of the above sources says, "mixed learning" is another valid option.

partial distance

Partial Distance Education Classes - Fall, 2011
These are courses that combine independent study with on-campus lectures or labs

Most "partial distance" courses have a mix of classroom and home and web based assignments. Class time is compressed to half the normal time which is replaced by home based and computer based learning.
