English term

regifting

English to Spanish Other General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters common vocabulary
when one receives a present, and as soon as you can, you give it to someone else. I can't think of a Spanish equivalent; it's almost an idiom.
example: Regifting is one way to save money.

Gracias Teresa. Creo que busco una palabra que no existe. I was hoping for one word, not a phrase.

roperazo

In Mexican Spanish at least, this is the term used to refer to a "re-gifted" gift.

As the peer comments indicate, this is not a term used in Spain, but if your translating for a Mexican readership, it would be the most obvious colloquial equivalent. In my years living in Mexico, I heard this expression more times than I can count.
Note from asker:
Thank you Javier. I agree. I never heard it before.
