On examination of Naripender’ s chest in December 1980, I saw a mark on the left side of his chest, which was round in shape, slightly depressed and hyperpigmented in the center. It was located below the left nipple, slightly toward the midline. At birth it had been red; it was neither bleeding nor oozing.
