effective period Explanation: "Efectos económicos y administrativos" is a very common phrase in relation to grants, agreements, posts, etc., and is used, as here, with dates, to indicate the period during which, or from which, the economic and administrative conditions of the grant etc. apply: "La beca tendrá efectos económicos y administrativos del día 1 de mayo de 2007, salvo que se solicite aplazamiento en la incorporación, que deberá ser autorizado por la Dirección General de Universidades." http://www.ucm.es/pags.php?tp=Concesión de becas FPU - Convo... The expression "effective period" is commonly used in English in relation to grants: "1.2 The effective period for the grant is from 01 July 2009 through to 30 June 2010. 1.3 Any expenditure incurred before or after the effective period of the grant is not allowable." http://www.mango.org.uk/Pool/G-Example-Grant-Agreement.doc "The grantee shall fully coordinate its activities in the performance of the grant with those of the Department. As the work of the grantee progresses, advice and information on matters covered by the grant shall be made available by the grantee to the Department throughout the effective period of the grant." http://dese.mo.gov/qs/documents/qs-si-hstw-2010-grant-award.... The whole line might perhaps go: "Effective period for economic and administrative purposes" or "Effective period of economic and administrative conditions". |
