Tech/Engineering - Construction / Civil Engineering / testing of concrete for resistance to water absorption
German term or phrase: t mittel
We are talking about concrete being treated with the manufacturer's product to make it more resistant to water. Blocks of concrete are treated with the product and then immersed in water under pressure for 7 days. After this period those blocks treated are compared with those not treated. The German text states: Die Probekörper, die unbehandelt geblieben sind, wiesen eine Wassereindringtiefe (cm, t mittel) von 4.5 auf. I am proposing to translate 't mittel' with 'd average', but am basically just guessing. Any ideas?
