strainer post

Seems relatively common on fencing websites, and it's certainly a term I'm familar with from other fields.

neutral Bourth (X) : Strainer posts implies fences strung with tensioned wire. I suspect these are fences made with panels of wire mesh, unless I'm confusing with another Asker.
