By the way - I think in the sense 'attrezzaggio' is used here - we cannot say 'tooling.'

'Tooling' has the idea to repair equipment or to change parts of the equipment. In the complete T1 provided with the question -- it is more like they are starting the machine for use in the assembly process. There is no idenication they are repairing the machine or changing its parts.
