A new study shows that the old fashioned, on call rota system still gets the thumbs up from juniors and is better for their mental wellbeing (Journal of the Royal College of Physicians 1997;31:162-7).

neutral Richard McDorman : I would avoid using the term "rota," which is highly marked as British. I would go with something more universally understood in the English-speaking world.
